My Aunt Virginia and Uncle Ernie made a successful trip to Boston, where they were reunited with my dad... Ernie's brother... after DECADES of separation! They treated him to a wonderful time, taking him to the world-famous Legal Seafood and catching up on years of news about family, friends and life. My Aunt and Uncle

My Uncle Ernie and Aunt Virginia are flying out from Utah to Boston next week to see my Dad. They're going to visit with him for two days. Dad's case worker told them to keep each visit no longer than three hours, because that's about all he can handle mentally/ emotionally. Meanwhile, he gave them a reason why he has stayed away for them for so long... You're gonna have to buy the book (revised version coming in 2011) to find out why!!

Decision Time

My father's family (way out in Utah and Wyoming) is eager to see my Dad before he deteriorates further. Problem is, when they've tried tracking him down in the past, he'd take off from wherever he was, just as they were closing in on him. Why? That's anyone's guess. My dad's case worker is being careful not to let my father know that I divulged his whereabouts to his brother and sister-in-law.
