Background Story of "Finding My Father"

I never thought I would ever write a nonfiction book, certainly not one as intensely personal as "Finding My Father." It just kind of... happened.

Alzheimer's Disease was an unexpected visitor when, after thirty years, I was reunited with my Dad. After all those decades of miles, secrets and family coming between us... now this???

Truthfully, Alzheimer's is not the only cause of my father's mental problems. He is a lifelong alcoholic and he has some neurological damage from a previous stroke. He also seems to have some other psychological issues, as well that don't fall under the Alzheimer's umbrella: paranoia, and strange strange delusions, to name a couple. He is very private, and distrusting of doctors.

Which poses the question: Now that I have found my father... What do I do with him???
